General Assembly Passes SBAC Sponsored Bill Holding Agencies Accountable to Small Business


May continues to be a very busy month for the SBAC as legislative session winds down in Springfield. We are excited to report that among the action in the final weeks, HB 5253, legislation requiring regulatory agencies to examine the impact new rules and regulations will have on small businesses, passed out of both the Illinois House and Senate with unanimous bipartisan support. This bill now awaits the Governor’s signature.
