We encourage SBAC members to become more involved by participating in one or more of our committees. Budget and Audit Committee
Reviews SBAC financial statements, monitors and supervises SBAC income and expenses, reasonably establishes and manages the appropriate fiscal policy on behalf of SBAC, and presents the SBAC annual budget for approval by a majority vote of the Executive Committee.
Community Outreach Committee
Builds the SBAC’s advocacy base through raising awareness and partnering with organizations that support the overall non-partisan mission of the SBAC.
Identifies the educational needs of our members, presents terrific speakers and shares significant information to support and grow small business.
Welcome and support members, communicate member benefits, facilitate development of professional relationships and lead mini-meetings.
Nominates candidates to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Reviews and develops public policies that support small business and develops advocacy initiatives and strategy.
PR & Communications Committee
Promotes the success of small business by serving as the communications arm of the SBAC through media relations, social media, member communications, coalition building and community outreach.
Provide shared resources and education for veterans and business owners.
To educate, inspire and invigorate our members to actively live fulfilled lives in all aspects of wellness.
Women in Business Committee
The SBAC Women’s Committee provides a forum for women in business to
network with each other and to work collectively to address the unique
challenges that women face in the workplace.
