Looking to improve your public speaking? Check out the Toastmasters meeting!

If you would like to hone your speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere, you’ll want to join the SBAC at this first sample Toastmasters meeting to learn about Toastmasters and kick off a new SBAC chapter in Lake County. The meeting will be held on Monday, January 28 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fresh Starts, 1512 N. Artaius Pkwy, in Libertyville.

Toastmasters can help develop better speaking and presentation skills, learn to think quick and clearly on your feet and build strong leadership ability. Each meeting (including this sample meeting) incorporates a structured environment, including timed speeches and table top (off the cuff) presentations. Meetings start promptly at 11:45 a.m. and close with meeting evaluations.

20 people must join to become chartered, and members can register at this meeting.
Please note this meeting is open only to SBAC members and no lunch will be served.
