October 27, 2014 Talking Points

Advocacy:

The SBAC Candidate Survey results will be posted to the SBAC website this week and also a Press Release will run this week in order to help raise awareness.

  • An SBAC issues survey was been distributed to all the candidates running for state elected office asking whether they will not only support, but attempt to sway their leadership, to move on issues important to the small business community.
  • With Election Day around the corner, we want to highlight candidates who actually are pro-small business and will go on the record supporting issues important to our community.
  • 24 candidates responded to our survey.
  • The results of the survey will be promoted via our website and the media leading up to the November 4th elections.
  • Click here for survey results.

The Candidate Survey amongst is a step in the right direction to give our members and citizens of this state a platform for transparency and accountability for our elected officials.
