Members of the SBAC Policy Committee spearhead one of the organization’s key missions: advocacy on behalf of the small business community. Policy Committee members play an important part in the building and implementation of SBAC advocacy efforts by formulating the SBAC Legislative Agenda and developing our strategy on issues important to small business owners across the state of Illinois. The Policy Committee takes an active role in our grassroots efforts to move legislation, and are the organization’s liaisons to elected officials. No prior legislative experience is needed to participate in the Policy Committee – only an interest in seeing our state enact initiatives that empower small businesses!
