Regional Chapters

SBAC membership includes event participation in all SBAC regional chapters. Each chapter hosts a variety of events including mini-meetings over breakfast, lunch, joint happy hours, and advocacy or educational forums. Check out the SBAC Calendar for upcoming chapter events or email admin@sbacil.org with questions.

CHICAGO CHAPTER
Chicago is the central SBAC chapter and hosts multiple breakfasts, lunches and cocktail hours in the downtown area and in various neighborhoods across the city. The permanent meetings include breakfast on the second Wednesday of the month at Nookie’s-Edgewater with the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce, breakfast the third Wednesday of the month at Diag Bar with the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce & Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, and lunch the fourth Friday of the month at Adamus Lounge.

FOX VALLEY CHAPTER
The Fox Valley Chapter is the newest SBAC chapter with cities that border the Fox River from Crystal Lake to Aurora in Kane and McHenry Counties. The chapter hosts a breakfast on the second Wednesday of the month at Sweet Berry Cafe in South Elgin.

LAKE COUNTY CHAPTER
The Lake County Chapter includes all of Lake County, encompassing towns such as Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Grayslake, Gurnee, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Libertyville, Mundelein, Round Lake, Vernon Hills and Waukegan. The Lake County Chapter hosts two meetings a month: a lunch on the second Thursday of the month at McGonigal’s Pub in Barrington and a lunch on the third Tuesday of the month at the Warehouse Eatery in Deerfield.

NORTHERN SUBURBS CHAPTER
The Northern Suburbs Chapter encompasses the northern portion of suburban Cook County (east of 294) and communities along the North Shore, including Evanston, Glencoe, Glenview, Niles, Northbrook, Northfield, Skokie, Wilmette and Winnetka. The Northern Suburbs Chapter hosts four meetings a month: a breakfast on the first Wednesday of the month at Max & Benny’s in Northbrook, a breakfast on the second Tuesday of the month at Jasper’s Cafe in Glenview, a breakfast at the second Friday of the month at  Jameson’s Charhouse in Skokie, and a breakfast on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Walker Brothers in Highland Park.

NORTHWEST SUBURBS CHAPTER
The Northwest Suburbs Chapter encompasses the northwestern portion of suburban Cook County (west of 294) and includes towns such as Arlington Heights, Des Plains, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, Mt. Prospect, Palatine, Rolling Meadows and Schaumburg and Wheeling. The chapter hosts lunch on the first Tuesday and third Friday of the month at Granite City Food & Brewery in Schaumburg

SOUTHWEST SUBURBS CHAPTER
The Southwest Suburbs Chapter encompasses southern suburban Cook and Will counties, and includes towns such as Joliet, Mokena, Oak Park, Orland Park, Palos Heights and Tinley Park. The chapter hosts a breakfast on the second Tuesday of the month at the Ashford House in Tinley Park.

WESTERN SUBURBS CHAPTER
The Western Suburbs Chapter encompasses DuPage County and and includes Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Hinsdale, Lisle, Lombard, Naperville, Oak Brook, Villa Park and Wheaton. The chapter hosts a breakfast on the first Thursday of the month at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook.
