Calling Chicago’s aspiring entrepreneurs
Are you a small business owner ready to expand into a brick-and-mortar storefront?
Would funding help you make that transition?
Learn about the opportunities presented through a collaboration between We Rise Together: For an Equitable & Just Recovery, the Small Business Advocacy Council, and Allies for Community Business, where we are helping provide knowledge and funding to qualified small business owners that wish to transition into a brick-and-mortar establishment.
This project will support the neighborhoods in Chicago’s south and west sides by presenting local businesses without physical space with opportunities to secure a brick-and-mortar establishment, connecting those businesses with property owners, providing coaching and information sessions to those businesses, and providing eligible businesses with up to $12,500 to support their transition to physical space.
Filling vacant properties give communities a better opportunity to thrive.
We are looking to connect Chicago commercial property owners with small business owners to fill vacant spaces.
