Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Opens Up Registration For Its Fifth Annual Texas Hold’Em Tournament

January 12, 2011
The Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (“YLS”) is looking for sponsors for its Fifth Annual Texas Hold’Em Tournament to Benefit the Chicago Bar Foundation (“CBF”).

The tournament is open to members of the Chicago legal community (and others) and includes a buffet dinner and open bar. The tournament will be marketed to all 22,000 members of the CBA as well as to Chicago’s general legal community (more than 42,000 attorneys practice in Cook County alone) via local legal publications.

Sponsors levels include: underwriter ($2,500); bar sponsor ($1,000); and table sponsor ($500).

Individual tickets to play in the tournament are $150 and may be purchased on-line at www.chicagobar.org/tournament.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the CBF, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization which provides funding for legal services to the neediest members of our community.

Many SBAC members are members of the Chicago Bar Association. Justin Heather, attorney, executive committee member of the YLS and SBAC member, is the chair of this event.
