ChildServ Hosts Afternoon of Cool Skating, Warm Cookies and Hot Cocoa on February 23



SBAC member ChildServ’s Auxiliary Board is hosting an afternoon of cool skating, warm cookies and hot cocoa on February 23 starting at 4:30 p.m. at the McFetridge Sports Complex, located at 3843 N California Avenue in Chicago.

Tickets are $15 per person. All event proceeds benefit ChildServ early childhood education and child welfare programs. Free parking is available in the sports complex parking lot, and skate rental is an additional $3.

ChildServ is a highly experienced, multidisciplinary child and family services network that reaches children and families facing adversity in the Illinois counties of Cook, Lake and DuPage. ChildServ reaches 3,100 children and their families each year, and focuses on providing in-depth, community-based programs to underserved children and their families, foster parents and other caregivers. ChildServ’s programs includes foster care and adoption, group homes, child care, early childhood education and parenting support, enhanced by healthy lifestyle information and college/career readiness support.
