“Our Small Business Event” to Help Local Businesses Grow and Prosper

The Small Business Advocacy Council, Alderman Jason C. Ervin and the U.S. Small Business Administration are co-sponsoring “Our Small Business Event” on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Westinghouse High School, 3223 West Franklin Boulevard, Chicago, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.

The event will provide small businesses, start-up non-profits and future entrepreneurs across Chicago’s 28th Ward and beyond with business tools and government resources to grow and prosper. Topics to be addressed include city, state and federal grants, business planning, start-up support, micro-loan lending and business development.

Representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, Chicago Department of Human Relations, SomerCor 504 Inc. and the SBAC will speak at the event. Check out our SBAC press release for the event.
